Dr. von Middendorf's education includes a B.S. degree in Hospitality Management and Business Administration from Florida International University. A National Graduate Merit Scholar and Psi Chi-Psychology National Honor student, she attended University of San Francisco, receiving a M.A. degree in Counseling Psychology. After continuing her education in the Doctoral Counseling program at University of San Francisco, she transferred to The Institute for The Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, in San Francisco, where she received a Doctor of Human Sexuality (D.H.S.), and Ph.D. in Human Sexuality.
